Yep the new zombie series is set to premiere on AMC this Halloween, with a 90 minute first episode at 10pm.  The series is directed by Frank Darabont ('The Shawshank Redemption' and 'The Mist') and it looks pretty interesting from what can be seen in the four and a half minute trailer, which debuted at this years Comic-Con.

So this Cop is blasted and wakes up in the hospital during a zombie apocalypse... ok besides the series seeming to have the very same plot as '28 Days Later' it looks pretty cool. Everything else in the trailer shows the make-up of a cool tv show, there are lots of zombies and a dude that seems pretty hell bent on killing a bunch of them.  The production and effects look to be really good as well, so this trailer for sure has got everyone interested in watching the first episode.

I needed my new campaign fix, and the dealer has come through with the supply.

L4D2 features 5 campaigns this time around, and lots of different weapons, including some really fun melee weapons.  Most of us don't a review to tell us how awesome this game is, but incase you want to see one, the folks over at IGN supplied one.

In the original tale, a writer leaves the big city to get away to the country to be in a better environment to write, but she rather becomes the victim of some sick locals.  She is repeatedly raped and released, over and over, and finally left for dead.  Rather than dying she seeks revenge on every last one of them.  

Should be interesting to see where this remake goes, in relation to the original.

I usually find myself disappointed by all the Halloween stores that pop up everywhere in every town, they just don't have what I am looking for.  I find that the best place to find amazing stuff is in online auctions.  They can be a little pricey, but the quality is usually really good and they are way more realistic, which means this isn't just a one time costume.  I like what I found, so check them out.

This phenomenon that is Freddy Krueger has captured horror fans for 25 years now, and this film is going to document everything and everyone involved in the films.  This is so amazing, and its something cool to look forward to.  It began shooting the last week of August, so it won't be out until sometime in 2010.  There is a site up for it right now, not too much on there, but check it every once and awhile for updates elmstreetlegacy.com

'Phantasm II' was released in 1988 and is a follow up to the 1979 original 'Phantasm'.  Both films are written and directed by Don Coscarelli.
